NATIONAL SHORTAGE OF KENNEL COUGH VACCINE

There are different types of kennel cough vaccine however if your dog has not had the vaccine before, or is out of date, you should leave at least SIX WEEKS to cover your dog before coming into kennels as one currently commonly used, Nobivac Respira, requires two injections 4 weeks apart for full immunity on primary vaccination. We still need at least a 5 day gap between 2^nd vaccination & arrival at kennels. There is a national shortage of the more popular Nobivac KC vaccine which needs only 5 days before check in, however your vet might not have this to offer you]

We are rapidly getting booked up for 2023 so please make sure that you get your booking requests in early!! Please check availability BEFORE booking your holiday!

Un-neutered/entire Males As from1st Jan 2023 we cannot accept any new entire male dogs for social boarding though they are welcome to stay in our unsocial kennels. We are happy to continue to socialise our regular entire boys - provided they behave themselves of course! But there is a limit to the number we can have in one group without increasing the risk of a fight to an unacceptable level....all that testosterone!!

We are all aware of the soaring costs of heating in the colder months and the kennels are no exception. In order to keep our furry friends warm and toasty over the winter season we have taken the difficult decision to increase our prices on all new bookings confirmed on or after 1^st September 2022. Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of 50% deposit. All existing bookings confirmed before 1^st September 2022 will be charged at July 2022 prices.

NEW PRICES AND TERMS OF BOOKING

NIGHTLY BOARDING CHARGE for bookings confirmed from 1^st September 2022.

£24 for single dog social boarding
£20 per dog for 2 dogs sharing a kennel unit social or unsocial boarding
£17 per dog for 3 dogs sharing a kennel unit social or unsocial boarding (no price increase)
£29 for single dog unsocial boarding

Please note that there is a minimum boarding charge of 2 nights

DAYCARE

9am-4.30pm £24 for single dog, £20 per dog for 2 dogs sharing a kennel unit, £17 per dog for 3 dogs sharing a kennel unit

Early Daycare drop-offs from 8am-9am please add £2 per kennel unit

Late Daycare pick-ups 4.30pm-6pm please add £2 per kennel unit

NEW ADMIN CHARGES

We are spending more time in the office, often well into the evening after all our dog care duties are done. For this reason we are introducing new admin charges (which will apply to all bookings confirmed before 1^st September 2022) as follows:

Cancellations

Confirmed bookings which are cancelled more than 14 days before the booking start date will be subject to a £10 cancellation charge. The cancellation charge will be deducted from the deposit refund. Exceptions will be made if replacing the existing booking with a new booking on the day that we are notified of cancellation.

Confirmed bookings which are cancelled less than 14 days before the booking start date will forfeit the deposit.

Booking amendments

Amendments to confirmed bookings more than 14 days before the booking start date will incur a £2 charge which will be added to the balance at the end of the stay. Bookings amended after 1^st September 2022 will be treated as new bookings so any further amendments will incur the £2 charge.

Amendments to confirmed bookings less than 14 days before the booking start date will be accommodated if possible but if the length of stay is reduced you will still be charged for the entire confirmed booking.

LOYALTY SCHEME

We would like to remind you to make good use of our Loyalty Scheme. Don’t forget to get your card stamped! Once you have booked a total of 14 days/nights with us we give you a free day/night. The 14 days/nights do not have to be in one block but can be spread over time.

Welcome to Copied Hall Kennels.

Bespoke dog care is designed to replicate your dog's home routine whilst staying with us. This routine has been specifically designed to reduce stress and make for a happier and more enriched stay. Your dog can look forward to a variety of enrichment activities ranging from walks and play time with a carefully hand selected group of dogs to brain games with puzzle toys and scent work. All of this is provided on our secure site which is staffed 24hrs a day allowing owners peace of mind whilst their dog enjoys their holiday with us.

Doggy Day Care

Your dog can enjoy all our enrichment activities whilst you are at work or enjoying a day out. We are offering exclusive hours for day care which allows dogs to be dropped off between 8-9am and collected as late as 6pm so you can enjoy a full day out and your dog can too!

Vaccinations – All dogs must have their annual vaccinations up to date. They MUST also all have the Kennel Cough Vaccine before they stay at Copied Hall Kennels. Kennel Cough vaccine – must be given to your dog at least 5 days before boarding begins. Most kennel cough vaccines are now valid for 12 months but check with your vet as they do vary.
